Structure of M.S.W. Course:-

The MSW degree will be awarded to the student who completes a total of 4 semesters in minimum of two years, clearing examination held by the University for a Total of 24 papers in four semesters (Six papers in per semesters), Field work, Research Dissertation and other components as per semester structure. From the Academic Year 2014 -2015 University has introduced 60-40 Pattern, 60 Marks External + 40 Marks Internal Assessment on the basis of two Tests.

Eligibility

Graduate Candidates in any discipline of any university recognized by the UGC Shall be eligible to apply for the M.S.W. course.50% of the sanctioned seats shall be reserved for BSW degree holders on the basis of merit for the admission to the M.S.W. Course.

BSW

Structure of B.S.W. Course:-

Since June 2010 North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon has introduced the Semester pattern for the B.S.W. Course. There are six semesters in the three year degree course with an 60:40 pattern According to the syllabus of the North Maharashtra University Jalgaon there shall be 30 written theory subjects including English subject of 100 Marks each.

Eligibility

Candidates who Passed H.S.C examination in any discipline Shall be eligible to apply for the B.S.W. course.

Career Oriented Courses

The College conducts six career oriented courses, which are affiliated to the Kavyatri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University Under Ordinance 181.

Of theses, three are certificate courses and three are diploma courses. The objective of these courses is to provide the social work students with some additional knowledge and skills so as to equip them to work effectively in the field. These courses also provide an edge to the students to compete in the job market.

The courses are taught by experienced and well qualified teachers.
Various teaching methodologies were used such as lectures, guest lectures, power point presentations, films, field visits, posters, and organization of programs to make the learning process interesting and interactive. There is an integration of theory and practice.
