The institute feels very proud to announce that there is no culture of ragging in the whole of Khandesh region i.e. Jalgaon, Dhule and Nandurbar. Since establishment of our institute, there has not been a single instance of ragging in our premises. Besides this, we conduct regular meetings of Anti ragging cell.

Objective of Student Development Cell:
The objective of Student Development Cell is to encourage holistic development of the students including not only academics but also overall personality development through various extracurricular and co-curricular activities.

1) To solve students related problems, maintain a discipline in college campus and classrooms.
2) Create a healthy environment in college which can help to students give their hundred present in classroom, field work and extracurricular activities.
- The discipline committee will ensure compliance of code of Discipline and Conduct for students for students and will suggest suitable action in case of its violation.
- Our college is secured under the surveillance of CCTV cameras.
- College provided identity cards to each students.
- Uiform are compulsory.

The SC/ST cell of the college was established in the year 2015 – 16. Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) have been identified as the two most backward groups of Indian Society. They include all the castes, races or tribes, which have been socially, economically and educationally backward. The cell has been established to support and to bring students from such communities in the main stream.
The SC/ST cell of the college was established with the purpose to support the SC/ST students to solve the Scholarship, Individual and study related problems.
Institute is totally free from discrimination abuse and issues, as Visarwadi Region is highly populated with tribal communities. The institute is strictly adhering to implement the rules and provision laid down by the Govt. to uplift the safeguard the rights of the backward communities. Institute has setup the grievance cell for SC/ST/OBC and minority.
- 95% population of this region is tribal, while 3% people belongs to SC/ST/OBC casts.
- 70% employees of the institute belongs to SC/ST/ OBC and NT.
- Since 2001, there has not been a single instance of any type of discrimination reported in our prmises.
Objectives
- To counsel and guide SC/ ST students and help them to manage academic and personal issues of college life effectively.
- To ensure provision of an environment where all such students feel safe and secure.
- To provide prompt counseling for any emotional emergencies arising on account of any event at the campus.
- To provide the mechanism to redress the grievance of SC/ST students, if any
- To arrange for special opportunities to enhance the career growth
- To make the SC/ST students aware regarding various scholarships programs of State Government and UGC.
Women’s Committee
The Goals:
- To sensitize gender equality and gender justice
- To sensitize the students on women’s laws
- To sensitize the students on various Gender issues
- To enhance the problem solving skills of the Female students
The Context:
The Women’s Cell works for sensitize the students on various Gender issue. which are necessary in their daily life. Professional Social Work Education provides the required knowledge, skills and attitudes for work in society. However, some knowledge are required to survive in the society. The Cell works toward this and tries to ensure to help the student become a complete person. Additional inputs cover various areas including women empowerment, women’s low, Defense Mechanism , problems solving skills etc.
The Practice:
The capacity of the Cell is 50 students. Students from the UG and PG level. Every class 05 Girls and 05 Boys f are enrolled in the Cell. Admissions are open to all on a first cum first basis. Initially the Cell organizes an orientation programme to discuss the objectives and activities of the Cell.
The different programmes organized during the Five year include a One day workshop on Sexual Harassment , street play , “Karate Training”, preparing of curriculum vitae, one day seminar on Gender Sensitization, and need for reservation and workshop on women’s low. Different resource persons and experts were invited to conduct these activities.
This Cell not only provides knowledge and attitude but it is a platform for students to express themselves, their concerns and build their capacities.
Woman Grievance Redressal Committee:
For gender equality & gender justice in all its intervention & practices Woman Grievance Redressal Committee was established under the Act No. 20 of 1990 of Govt. of India under the able surveillance of then principal Dr. Jalindar Adsule in 2016 in Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar college of social work.
The Committee is responsible for looking into any complaints filed by students & staff about Woman Grievances at the college.

The college has established lifelong learning cell in 2009 with the help and financial support of North Maharashtra University Jalgaon. Now, this cell is run by the college with its own financial support. Lifelong Learning is the continuous building of skills and knowledge throughout the life an individual. The Students are encouraged to participate in various workshop and programs organized by the cell. Lifelong learning is the continuous pursuit of knowledge and skills throughout an individual’s career for either personal or professional reasons. Lifelong learning is a form of self-initiated education that is focused on personal development.
The Lifelong Learning Cell works for developing skills in the students which are necessary in their daily life. Professional Social Work Education provides the required knowledge, skills and attitudes. However, some additional skills are required to survive in the highly competitive world today. The Cell works toward this and tries to ensure to help the student become a complete person.
